Dye Garden

The dye garden grew out of a wish to understand colour from the ground up — literally.

Three beds carry madder, weld and woad. The harvest dyes a limited quantity of yarn each summer, in shades that vary with the weather.

Nothing from the garden is standardised. The variation is documented and treated as part of the design.
